Hannah –
It’s honestly been a pleasure to pattern test this cardigan and it’s my first ever piece of clothing for myself. Plus size can be few and far between in a style I like so I was lucky to stumble onto this. The colours were completely out of my comfort zone, in fact it’s the most colourful item of clothing I own (by far!!) but I love how versatile it is. I’d like to have a go making one in shades of greys with a random block of colour in their too.
It’s incredibly warm and cosy and am genuinely sad we’re now getting into summer and it’s too warm to use. Although, get the fire pit on in the garden!!
It’s worth also noting that I’m still relatively new at reading patterns, with this this maybe my 5th?? pattern I’ve read, I think. So I’m by no means an expert and I’ve only been crocheting for little over a year. The pattern was easy to follow and ‘newbie friendly’ so I’d definitely not let the size of this put you off if you’re a little unsure of their skill. Go for it and enjoy!!
